Top Ways Drugs Get Into Prison
Many people end up in jail due to drug possession, drug production or trafficking, therefore it’s no wonder that there is a huge market for drug use in prison. The question then becomes; how do people get the drugs into prison? Some of the answers to this question will seem common sense, others will surprise you and others will simply gross you the fuck out.
Here they are in no particular order:
The Mail: This is probably the most obvious and popular way that inmates get their drugs. Most security housing inmates get one approved manufactured package per year, so they use this opportunity to get heroin balls crushed into Trix or Cap’n Crunch or any other food product. Also, sometimes they will receive international mail that requires many stamps and people will flatten out heroin and send it on the back of the stamps.
Prison Guards: These guys obviously have access and since they control what goes in and out, they are a very easy way to get the drugs in, obviously they are being bribed to provide the inmates with their services. Here is a story on a guard getting caught doing this. Link
Court Approved Gifts: Inmates will get someone to write the name of their attorney and address on an official envelope and have in big letters “Confidential Legal Mail” written on the top. Prison guards simply don’t have the time to check every piece of legal mail that comes to an inmate so the “documents” will contain anything from flattened out heroin to small bags of cocaine.
Lawyers: now this is a more rare situation considering that an attorney will be disbarred for such criminal behavior. But, if you have the money or the power this can definitely happen as evinced by this story which not only includes the lawyer providing drugs behind bars but also some other type of action. Link
Diapers: Yes, that shit is nasty as all hell but who said drugs were a clean and antiseptic operation? Haven’t you been reading this site? Outside work crews: Through pre-planning a drop is made to a specified location. When the outside work crew shows up the item is retrieved and kiestered and stuffed up the ol’ anus.
