Being the bad muther-effing DJ that he is, J. Rocc always has sole possession of ridiculously rare songs. I saw him at Funky Sole in LA once and he played this mind-blowing J. Dilla remix of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s World” that will never ever be officially released. Ever. Which is why you should be glad that J. Rocc just previewed these brand new Madvillain tracks recently on East Village Radio’s Fat Beats Live. That’s right, Madlib and MF Doom are getting their supervillain on once again.
