Norma Jeane Baker died of a barbituate overdose fueled by the narcissistic self-loathing of being an American celebrity. She’s in heaven now, playing backgammon, and trading reds for blues with Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson and Jimi Hendrix.

So why do we all care this week that she hit this one doob? Boredom, I guess.
